Ilya Abulkhanov — Designer

Ilya Abulkhanov is a Designer based in United States, featured in the Art of Styleframe library of motion design and visual design talent. This profile aggregates selected works documented in the gallery alongside attribution links back to the artist's own portfolio for verified context.

Ilya's portfolio spans Zoo lander, The Last Ship-, The BlackBox, Terminator- among other commissions; the 15 selections indexed here each carry attribution straight back to the studio that made them. Titles in the gallery below include IMAX - Cinema Reimagined, Skyscraper (2018) - Main-on-End, Skyscraper (2018) - Prologue Film, Meet iPhone X - Apple, among others, each opening on the original artist source rather than rehosted media.

For the complete picture, Ilya keeps work at ilomoki.com, workbyilya.com, and we treat those as the canonical record rather than duplicating them here. There's a reason we anchor Ilya to United States and to specific works instead of vague trend labels: the specifics are the part worth keeping.

Who he is

His working portfolio is at workbyilya.com, published under the name Ilya V. Abulkhanov, and it runs to about thirty projects with a page for each. The mix is unusual: studio title sequences, feature film graphics, music videos, product launch films and personal photographic work sit in one continuous list. A second domain, ilomoki.com, is listed on this profile but currently returns a hosting placeholder rather than a site.

Screen graphics for superhero films are the obvious anchor. Iron Man 1 and the Iron Man 2 reel line up with the HUD and R&D sets catalogued above, and both X-MEN entries, Days Of Future Past and Apocalypse, extend that run. Skyscraper (2018) appears twice, once as a prologue film and once as a main-on-end sequence, which are two genuinely different jobs on the same picture.

Music and advertising broaden the picture. Rihanna's Sledgehammer, made for the Star Trek Beyond soundtrack release, sits alongside title design for Jay-Z's The Story of OJ. Apple shows up twice, with Meet iPhone X and iWatch. IMAX - Cinema Reimagined and MTV: Movie Awards (2009) cover brand and broadcast.

Games get one entry, but it's a big one: the Destiny opening cinematic from 2014. Zoolander 2 handles comedy, OFFF (2009) is a festival piece, and the older items on his site reach back through RocknRolla, Married Life and Fred Claus.

What holds it together? Interface. Whether the brief is a Marvel helmet display, an Apple product film or a festival title, he keeps returning to graphics that pretend to be a working system. That's a narrow specialism, and it has clearly kept him busy for well over a decade.
