Xiaolin Zeng — Visual Designer
Xiaolin Zeng is a Visual Designer based in China, featured in the Art of Styleframe library of motion design and visual design talent. This profile aggregates selected works documented in the gallery alongside attribution links back to the artist's own portfolio for verified context.
Xiaolin's portfolio spans Akira, DDD+OFFF MIANLO 2018 MAIN TITLES, Pause 2017 Opening Titles by zaoeyo, Styleframe collection among other commissions; the 12 selections indexed here each carry attribution straight back to the studio that made them. Titles in the gallery below include Shogun Title Sequence, The Last of Us Title Sequence, Murderbot Diaries Title Sequence, Resident Evil 2 Title Sequence Styleframes, among others, each opening on the original artist source rather than rehosted media.
For the complete picture, Xiaolin keeps work at zaoeyo.co, behance.net, and we treat those as the canonical record rather than duplicating them here. There's a reason we anchor Xiaolin to China and to specific works instead of vague trend labels: the specifics are the part worth keeping.
Xiaolin Zeng, who signs his work zaoeyo, is a designer and art director from China who has built one of the most recognisable title-design portfolios of the past decade. He's featured in the Art of Styleframe library, and each entry below points at the project page he published himself.
What he does
Zeng started out self-taught in Cinema 4D and After Effects, and it shows in the way he thinks: the frame comes first, the pipeline second. His signature is dense, sculptural CG that stays legible. Metal, glass, cloth, and dust get pushed until they read as material rather than shader demos, and the compositions almost always resolve into one clear silhouette. That restraint is why the frames survive being cut down to a fifteen-second title card.
His personal site doubles as an index, pointing at project pages on Behance and at studio work published through Elastic. He also runs Momentor, a Cinema 4D education platform, which is where a lot of younger Chinese motion designers first ran into his process.
Selected projects
Look at the title sequences first. Shogun, The Last of Us, and Murderbot Diaries are the finished broadcast work, and the difference between them is worth studying: three completely different material languages, one consistent sense of pacing.
Then look at the pitches. Halo Main Title Pitch and the League of Legends Arcane Main Titles Pitch are unmade work, published anyway. That's unusual and it's generous. Pitches show you what the designer wanted before a client narrowed it down, and these two are more experimental than anything that shipped.
Awaken Akira and Pause 2017 Opening Titles are the older, career-making pieces. Resident Evil 2 Title Sequence Styleframes sits between the two modes, a spec sequence rendered to finished quality.
Game and product work rounds it out: The Witcher IV, the PUBG anniversary film, OnePlus 11 Liquid. Different budgets, same discipline about silhouette.
