Vít Zemčík — Motion Designer
Vít Zemčík is a Motion Designer based in the Netherlands, featured in the Art of Styleframe library of motion design and visual design talent. This profile aggregates selected works documented in the gallery alongside attribution links back to the artist's own portfolio for verified context.
Across 14 catalogued projects, Vít's range covers Breakfast with Nova, Marketing Festival Openers, Nickelodeon nView, Nova Sport Openers and more, with every entry pointing to the artist's original source rather than a rehosted copy. The set runs through Nova Sport, RTVS, Seznam TV, Emplifi, among others, and every thumbnail sends you to the artist's site, not a reposted file.
Full reels, case studies, and contact details live at vitzemcik.com; this page works as an editorial index pointing toward those primary sources. Keeping coverage of designers like Vít tied to Netherlands rather than a generic style taxonomy is a bias toward the particular this publication has tried to hold onto through every redesign.
Vit Zemcik is a motion designer whose portfolio sits mostly in Central European broadcast, with a growing amount of interface and product motion alongside it. He's featured in the Art of Styleframe library, and each gallery entry links to the project page on his own site.
What he does
Broadcast identity is the spine of the work. Channel packages, sport openers, idents, the kind of design that has to look right at 3am on a set-top box and still hold up on a festival screen. Zemcik's version of it is unusually typographic. Where a lot of sport branding reaches for speed lines and lens flares, his tends to build motion out of grids and letterforms that were already there.
The second thread is UX motion, and it's the more interesting half. He treats interface animation as a design discipline rather than a polish pass, which is still a minority position.
Selected projects
Start with the broadcast set. Nova Sport, RTVS, and Seznam TV are three different networks with three different tones, and comparing the idents shows how much of a package is decided by type choice alone. Voyo covers streaming, which brings a different set of constraints again.
Emplifi and Humanic are the brand-side work, where the deliverable is a system rather than a single film. Scholastika sits on the cultural end.
Then the pieces that read as personal research. UX Motion is exactly what the name says, a study of how interface elements should move. The Medium is the Message and Retro TV both play with the texture of broadcast itself, one conceptually and one nostalgically. Imagine Prague and Mouvo connect back to the Czech design-festival scene, which is where a lot of this work first got shown.
Identity Title Sequence and Demo 2025 close out the current reel. If you only open two links, make it one broadcast package and one UX piece. The contrast is the whole point of the portfolio.
